Samuel Chukwueze faces at least two months out with hip injury

Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze is expected to spend at least two months on the sidelines after sustaining a hip injury ahead of AC Milan’s UEFA Europa League clash against Bournemouth on Thursday.

According to Corriere della Sera, via MilanNews, the winger has already consulted a specialist and begun treatment for the injury.

The 27-year-old is expected to undergo another assessment in 10 to 15 days, with a return to action anticipated before the end of the year.

Chukwueze has featured regularly for the Serie A side this season following his return from a loan spell at Premier League club Fulham.

The Nigerian winger has recorded two assists in eight appearances across all competitions for AC Milan this season.
